


Trying to click to the emulator would cause Win8 to give that little jingle that indicates you can't complete whatever task you're trying to do, and the Options window would flash. The "OK", "Cancel", and "Apply" buttons wouldn't respond to my clicks, and I couldn't close it with the red X in the top right corner. However, I was then unable to close the Options Window. I have an adapter that lets me use my 360 controller with supported games, so I click on "Options" and go to change the controls to the gamepad rather than the keyboard. So I purchased the Sonic Hits Collection today and was a little surprised to find that the older games seem to run on an emulator. Warning: Lengthy post explaining the situation inbound! Not only that, I'm having zero issue with the emulator when running it separately from Steam. On a whim I decided to run it, and much to my surprise the emulator launches without a hitch.
